Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar opening soon
The Boston favorite, Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar is officially opening its first Florida outpost, bringing its famous tacos, fresh oysters, and crushable margaritas to West Palm Beach’s Nora District early next year — bringing a vibrant, neighborhood-style hangout built for laid-back lunches, pre-game margarita runs, and nights that stretch long past sunset.
Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar got its start in Boston back in January 2015, when owner Mike Shaw launched the first location in South Boston (often called “Southie”). From the get-go, Loco stood out as a “funky neighborhood joint,” pairing Baja-style tacos and fresh-shucked oysters with a robust tequila and cocktail program — all served in a lively, reclaimed-wood, brick-and-beam space with a central vintage-tile bar that quickly felt like a summer escape.
Its arrival is another layer of momentum for the Nora District, where historic warehouses have been reimagined into a walkable hub that’s rapidly evolving into one of West Palm Beach’s most magnetic destinations.
