RCC building Eataly in West Palm Beach
World-renowned Italian food hall Eataly is coming to CityPlace in West Palm Beach next year.
Eataly, the global Italian marketplace and restaurant space, will join the shops and restaurants within the experiential neighborhood of CityPlace, located in the heart of the city’s downtown, in the fall of 2025. The brand has leased space at the historic Harriet Himmel building, a 100-year-old theater in West Palm Beach, located at 700 S. Rosemary Ave.
“We’re incredibly excited to enter the South Florida market and look forward to bringing the Italian art of living to the West Palm Beach community at CityPlace,” says Tommaso Brusò, CEO of Eataly North America. “As a true lifestyle destination with an impressive mix of retail, art, design, and cuisine, CityPlace couldn’t have been a better match for our incoming flagship store.”
Together with Related Ross, Eataly West Palm Beach at CityPlace will offer its classic experiences for its guests: seated restaurants, quick-service counters, and a specialty market with imported Italian goods that have become synonymous with the brand.
"The historic Harriet Himmel building is an ideal location for Eataly’s Italian market and restaurant concept, which will honor the rich heritage of CityPlace’s long-standing community center while also introducing a new, must-visit gastronomic destination for locals and visitors alike,” says Gopal Rajegowda, executive vice president of Related Ross.
Eataly shocked readers over the summer when New Times broke the story that the food hall would open at Aventura Mall in spring 2025. The Aventura location will be the first Florida location of Eataly.
The Italian food hall is currently operating in more than 50 locations across 15 countries worldwide and has 12 North American locations. These locations include Italy, the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Germany, Great Britain, France, Sweden, Turkey, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia.
The company is actively executing an ambitious expansion plan, with new openings slated for some of the world's major cities, including in South Florida.
