BrickTop’s is seeking expansion in the Charlotte market. The chain recently filed a land development construction plan with the City of Charlotte at 3415 Toringdon Way in the Ballantyne area. The spot will be located in an outparcel at Toringdon Market. A Red Robin formerly occupied the address. The filing indicates plans to demolish the Red Robin and construct a new restaurant for BrickTop’s.

A spokesperson with BrickTop’s confirmed in a message to What Now Charlotte that the company is bringing a second location to Charlotte. “We are thrilled to be opening our second Charlotte location in Ballantyne. It’s an incredible community, and we can’t wait to be a part of it,” the spokesperson said.

BrickTop’s is targeting an opening date near the end of 2026. The company plans to release further details as it grows closer to opening.

The chain finds its roots in Nashville, where it launched in 2006. The brand currently has a location in SouthPark, as well as three in Nashville, three in Florida, one in St. Louis, one in Birmingham, Ala., and one in Greenville, South Carolina. Another location is listed as slated to open in Delray Beach, FL, in fall 2026.
