Gary Rack’s Farmhouse in Coral Springs

Palm Beach County, FL.,  restaurateur Gary Rackthis summer is bringing Gary Rack’s Farmhouse, to the Modera Coral Springs development on North University Drive in Broward County, FL. . Spanning 3,600 square feet, the new venue will be Rack’s largest and most ambitious to date.

“Coral Springs emerged as a compelling choice for our third location,” said Rack, founder of Gary Rack Restaurant Management Group, who was struck by the city’s growth, expanding lifestyle offerings, and appeal to long-term residents, families, and young professionals looking to put down roots. “It presented an opportunity to bring theFarmhouse brand to a market with long-term potential and an authentic neighborhood spirit.”

The project, co-conceived by Pam Manhas of Manhas Design, one of South Florida’s leading restaurant designers and the mastermind behind Rack’s Boca Raton venue, marks a return collaboration.

“It’s great to be working again with Gary, who wanted the design narrative to feel elevated, yet fun and engaging as well,” Manhas said.

With each outlet embodying its own unique character – Delray Beach embraces a rustic stamp marked by abundant wood and more distressed materials, while Boca takes on an Italian-imbued bent tied to its pizza component – the Broward site will retain a distinctly urban aesthetic, complete with concrete floors, tile and wood-tone walls, and 16-foot open ceilings hung with eccentric light fixtures crafted from vintage bird cages.

In the main dining room, deep-red booths and banquettes imbue warmth and visual interest, while an expo kitchen adds an immersive element. Nearby, a lively, vibe-led bar activates the corner of the property and defines the venue’s social energy from the moment guests arrive, while a designated takeout window supports off-premise dining and third-party deliveries with ease.

Beyond the dining room, banks of Nanawall doors create an easy transition to the patio and wraparound alfresco seating.

Perhaps the most striking design moment is the panoramic Surrealist mural by nationally celebrated Miami-based street artist Ruben Ubiera, with whom Rack has collaborated previously, creating a bold visual backdrop that helps establish the eatery’s identity from the street.

As Vice President of Culinary, Demetrio Zavala, a multi-time Food Network champion whose relationship with Rack spans nearly two decades, delivers thoughtful epicurean experiences rooted in regional flavors and fresh, sustainable ingredients that invite guests to linger longer.
