Harry Winston, in the Miami Design District, is a 2-story, 11,000sf couture jewelry store. The luxury, level-5 retail space was delivered from the landlord as two separate spaces. The interior had to be reconfigured into one unified 2-story space, connected with a 27-foot high ceiling opening through to the second floor. A constructed large spiral staircase connected the second level walkway. The 32-ft. high storefront needed to be structurally reconfigured with steel to accept the specialty stone and to create a 27ft. high alcove. The floors also had to be structurally strengthened to accommodate (2) two-ton safes.
The project had a 14-week accelerated schedule.
