RCC Associates is Ranked Among The 50th Fastest Growing
Women-Owned/Led
Businesses in North America
DEERFIELD
BEACH, FL—OCTOBER 2008—RCC Associates
General Contractors, which has grown from $19 million in revenues
to $105.1 million over the course of the last nine years, has
been recognized as one of North America’s fastest growing
Women-Owned/Led Businesses.
Headed
by Beverly Raphael, who succeeded her late husband, Richard, in
1998, RCC Associates has become one of the nation’s most
sought-after buildout contractors, specializing in high end retail,
restaurants, spas, financial institutions and corporate offices.
The South Florida-based company has built more than 1,500 assignments
in 22 states over the course of its 37-year history.
Entrepreneur
magazine, in partnership with the Women Presidents’ Organization,
notified finalists this week and will be hosting the top 50 finalists
in New York in December at the WPO 50 Fastest awards ceremony.
Earlier this year the Center for Leadership at Florida International
University (FIU), in partnership with The Commonwealth Institute,
ranked RCC sixth on their list of the top 50 Florida Women-Led
businesses.
RCC,
which enjoys the distinction of being one of the few women-owned
general contracting firms in the US, employs 82 associates, 32
percent of which are women.
Another
well-earned niche for RCC is the company’s recognition as an
industry leader and a community benefactor. For
company President Beverly Raphael 2008 recognition and achievement
includes winning the Sun-Sentinel Excalibur Award, which recognizes
business leaders in Broward and Palm Beach counties and Ernst & Young’s
